Free room & board in return for help!
We match people needing accommodation with people needing help. We have a few places available in Sydney right now including Illawong.
Our clients are elderly, sick or disabled. They need help with everyday activities such as cleaning, cooking and mowing - things you are likely to do for yourself anyway. If you are able to provide active help of just 14 hours a week (averaging roughly 2 hours a day), you will be given free food and board.
In some instances we have clients who need more hours of help. In this case, if you are eligible and are a permanent resident or citizen of Australia, we may be able to help you receive the Carer's Pension and Allowance. This comes to about $580 per week plus the free food and board.
