Homestay in Strathfield

Welcome to the affluent area of Strathfield. Historically, this was where all the important people built their homes from the mid-1800s to the early 1900s. This heritage listed home is spacious with elegant architectural features. The neighbourhood is very quiet and suits someone who enjoys the peace. The streets are delightful to walk around and there are parks and rose gardens nearby.

10 minutes walk to the Strathfield train station, a major hub in Sydney. From there, it's 12 minutes express to Sydney Central station, go north to Epping where you can catch the underground Metro or continue further north to Newcastle. You can go west to Parramatta, Penrith or the Blue Mountains. Locally, it's 10-15 minutes walk to cafes, library and supermarket for grocery shopping or you can come with me to the Farmer's market for organic produce on Saturday mornings in the car.

You will be sharing with two humans and a tabby cat. We (humans) are vegetarian though it is ok for you to eat meat. You are welcome to use the facilities in the kitchen to cook and eat. If you are staying a while, you might like to get a second hand fridge for more storage.

There is an enclosed bathroom with toilet and shower, an additional shower cubicle beside the back door and internal toilet and wash basin.
