Hi! I'm Carlos, a 21-year-old Mexican student joining the University of Sydney for a semester. I grew up in a close, family-oriented home in Monterrey, so living with a host family genuinely excites me
My English is fully fluent. I hold a C2 TOEFL certification, the highest possible level, so will always feel natural and easy!
I've traveled and studied internationally several times, and a few years ago I had an amazing homestay experience that I look back on very fondly. That family truly made me feel at home, and I hope to build that same kind of warm connection again.
Day-to-day, I'm tidy, considerate, and easy to live with. I keep my space clean, always communicate my schedule in advance, and prefer cozy evenings studying or chatting over going out late. I don't smoke, I'm not a picky eater (and will always look forward to trying new foods), and I genuinely enjoy being part of family life (meals, conversation, the whole thing)
